Building a website is a process. Wireframing is one of those parts of the web process that should not be skipped, just as you wouldn’t build a house without a blueprint, or live in it without decoration. Each step has an important place in a larger process. For those looking to build a website of any size or shape, wireframes are the foundation on which to begin building, and usually comes after the site architecture has been determined by a site map or flow chart of the web-site’s pages and before the creative design phase. On this page, I've provided examples of wireframes that I have created for various clients over the years.
WIREFRAMES
Devoid of color, font choices, logos or any real design elements that take away from purely focusing on a site’s structure, wireframes are simple black and white layouts that outline the specific size and placement of page elements, site features, conversion areas and navigation for your website. By eliminating any trace of design elements and basic visual aesthetics, a site's usability is pushed to the forefront, highlighting strengths and weaknesses of the user flow and navigational elements. Pain points that would cost potentially dozens (if not hundreds) or hours of development time are identified early on!

User Journeys help demonstrate the way users currently (or could) interact with the service / website / product by showing a series of steps within a scenario that a particular type of user would take to achieve a goal. On this page, I've provided several examples of user journeys created for various clients over the years.
